While HTC's current flagship smartphone got its piece of the KitKat action earlier this month, it appears that other members of the HTC One family will be getting the same treatment as of today, including the HTC One Max and the HTC One Mini.
According to HTC, the Android 4.4 KitKat will be rolling to theHTC One Mini, the Onem Max and the One dual-SIM smartphones as of today. The new update will also bring Cloud Printing, improved multitasking, Google Drive support, better encryption and overall improved performance.
In addition to the Android 4.4 KitKat update for the One family, HTC also announced that the next flagship will have a guaranteed support for at least 2 years. Earlier rumors about the next HTC flagship, codename M8, point to a 4.7-inch 1080p device powered by a Snapdragon 800 chipset and dual rear cameras.
