While this concept isn't that new, since the Oppo Find X already had a slide out camera and Vivo did a pop-out camera on its Nex smartphone, it is a good direction to go as it gives you a smartphone that is all about the screen.
Teased at the Honor Play unveiling at the IFA 2018 show, the Magic 2 appears to have a manual slide out camera, and while Honor was not keen on providing more details, probably as it is still in its early stages, it did say that it will be powered by Huawei's new Kirin 980 SoC.
This also means that the Honor Magic 2 smartphone will probably target the high-end market rather than the mid-range one, which is usually reserved for the Honor lineup.
Hopefully, more information will come soon as it looks pretty good.
