Tomorrow July 17th at 1 PM Central European Time, Xiaomi Spain will sell the Xiaomi A3 phone. A few recent leaks revealed that the phone comes with an updated Snapdragon 665 chipset and Spanish customers will be able to pick it up without a shipping fee for the first 24 hours.

Currently, the Xiaomi A2 starts at €249 for the 4GB/32GB version. 4GB RAM and 64GB storage sell for €279 while the top of the line, 6GB RAM and 128 GB storage sells for not so affordable €349.

The prices at the Spanish website are way over the top as one can find the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version at Austrian search engine called Geizhals for €154. The lesson to be learned here is that the Xiaomi official store is a good source only at the beginning while at a later date resellers offer the same product at much more affordable prices. The phone retail package is already pictured and leaked.

Snapdragon 665 is manufactured at Samsung’s 11 nm manufacturing process still has four 4 + 4 cores in a mix of 2.0 GHz Kryo 260 Gold based on Cortex-A73 and little 1.8 GHz Kryo 260 Silver based on Cortex-A53.

The 48-megapixel camera, in-screen fingerprint sensor and 4030 mAh battery made its way to the final design. The phone comes with a  6.08" AMOLED display as well as 18 W fast charging.

For the lovers of Android One platform, this certainly represents an interesting product.
