The OnePlus 7T measures at 160.9x74.4x8.1mm and weighs 190g, which makes it both slightly smaller, thinner and lighter than the OnePlus 7 Pro, as it comes with a smaller 6.55-inch 20:9 ratio Fluid AMOLED screen with 2400x1080 90Hz panel. This leaves it with 86.5 percent screen-to-body ratio and 402 ppi of pixel density. As it comes with a small notch and lower resolution, it means it has both the lower screen-to-body ratio and lower ppi compared to the OnePlus 7 Pro, set at 88.1 percent and 516ppi, respectively.
Of course, OnePlus 7T Pro is expected in October, which should be the direct successor to the OnePlus 7 Pro, as the OnePlus 7T is considered an update to OnePlus 7.
The display is protected by Gorilla Glass, as well as the back glass, and it has an aluminum frame. The display has a peak brightness of 1000 nits, can show 100 percent DCI-P3 gamut, and supports HDR10+.
Another big update for the OnePlus 7T is the Snapdragon 855+ SoC, which comes paired up with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of UFS3.0 storage.
The OnePlus 7T also gets a new triple rear main camera system, with 48-megapixel main Sony IMX586 sensor, paired up with f/1.6 aperture and 0.8um pixel size, a 12-megapixel telephoto module with 1.0um pixel size and f/2.2 aperture, as well as an ultra-wide-angle 16-megapixel module with f/2.2 aperture and 117-degree FoV. The main camera also features 2x optical zoom, multi autofocus with PDAF and CAF, as well as dual-LED flash.
The front camera, located in the small center placed notch, features Sony IMX471 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture, EIS, and fixed focus.
Oneplus paired up the 7T with slightly larger 3800mAh battery which has support for Warp Charge 30T, meaning it pumps 30W through it charger which allows it to fill up 70 percent of the battery in half an hour. Unfortunately, there is no support for wireless charging.
The OnePlus 7T ships with Android 10 with OxygenOS 10 on top of it, and has usual connectivity options, including USB 3.1 Type-C connector, no 3.5mm audio jack, and has an under-display optical fingerprint sensor.
All in all, OnePlus 7T offers a lot for its starting price of $599 and according to OnePlus site, it will be available in about 20 days or so, in Glacier Blue and Frosted Silver color options.
