According to LG's own announcement, we are looking at five new models, LG gram 17 (model 17Z90P), LG gram 16 (model 16Z90P), LG gram 14 (model 14Z90P), LG gram 2-in-1 16 (model 16T90P), and LG gram 2-in-1 14 (model 14T90P). All five will feature 16:10 aspect ratio screens, thin and light package, even for the 17-inch version, Intel 11th Gen Core processors with Iris Xe graphics, impressive batteries, and more.
LG is quite proud of the thin-and-light part of the LG Gram series, and even the LG gram 17 tips the scales at 1.35kg (2.98lbs). The LG Gram 17 measures at 380.2 x 260.1 x 17.8mm (14.97 x 10.24 x 0.70 inches), which is quite impressive considering its screen size and hefty 80Whr battery. The smallest in the lineup, the LG gram 14, measures at 313.4 x 215.2 x 16.8mm (12.34 x 8.47 x 0.66 inches) and weighs 999g, but it comes with a 72Whr battery.
The 17-inch LG gram 17 (17Z90P) and the LG gram 16 (16Z90P), will feature an IPS DCI-P3 99 screen with 2560x1600 resolution. The LG gram 16 2-in-1 also comes with the same resolution display but this time it is a Touch IPS display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6. LG also has another 2-in-1 in the lineup, the LG gram 14 2-in-1, which has a WUXGA 1920x1200 touchscreen.
Intel 11th gen with Iris Xe for Intel Evo badge
The LG Gram laptop 2021 lineup will be Intel Evo Platform verified and are powered by Intel's latest 11th gen Core CPUs with Iris Xe graphics and 8GB or 16GB of LPDDR4x memory. All models are also equipped with M.2 dual SSD slots. Intel is quite strict when it comes to these specifications, with limits on hardware, wake up times, connectivity, and more.
All models will have the same connectivity, including USB 4 Gen3x2(x2, USB PD, ThunderboltTM 4), USB 3.2 Gen2x1(x2), HDMI, microSD/UFS, HP-Out, as well as fingerprint reader, and WiFi 6. The lineup also includes a backlit keyboard and Stylus Pen Wacom AES 2.0 for 2-in-1 models. You can check out the full specifications below.
