The data comes from an App Store developer spotted by Bloomberg, and the upcoming 3nm Apple M3 chip is expected to launch late this year or early 2024. According to leaked details, the CPU part could stick to the same six performance and six power-efficient cores, which is a similar increase from the M1 to the M2 chip.

The rumors also talk about the M3 Max chip, which could end up with a 14-core CPU, and a 40-core GPU, while the M3 Ultra could double those numbers, ending with an 80-core GPU.

Hopefully, Apple will reveal a bit more official information during WWDC 2023, scheduled for June 5th, 2023.
