Intel plans five new mobile CPUs in Q1

Four Core 2 Duos and one Quad


Intel plans to enrich its mobile CPU roadmap with five additional SKUs, and they are scheduled for Q1 2009 introduction. Core 2 Duo T9800 will be the fastest of them all, and it will run at 2.93GHz with FSB 1066 and 6MB of cache. It will cost $530 at launch in Q1.


The second one in line is Core 2 Quad Q9000 clocked at 2.0GHz with FSB 1066 and 6MB cache that will sell for $348. The Core 2 Duo P9600 with 2.66 GHz clock FSB1066 and 6MB cache will also be selling for $348 at launch in Q1.

Intel also plans to introduce the T9550 with a 2.66GHz clock, FSB 1066 and 6MB cache and this Core 2 Duo CPU will be selling for $316. The last one on the list is Core 2 Duo T8700 with 2.53GHz core clocks, FSB 1066 and 3MB cache that will be selling for $241 at launch.
