Q1 2010

Lynnfield,
Intel’s cheaper quad-core Nehalem with dual channel memory is expected to replace Q9550s and Q9400s in low power quad core market. Such a CPU should launch in Q1 2010 and it should have a 65W TDP.

Intel believes that such a CPU will bring more quad-cores and more performance to small form factor PCs such as 4litre volume ones and it hopes to capture some of All in One markets with the new quad-cores.

There might be some PC in a monitor quad-cores systems in early 2010 and we can only hope that they will have speeds faster than Q9500S' 2.83GHz.
