Intel's essential and value roadmap is about to get a few new members. Intel is all about transitioning most of its processors to the new LGA 1155 socket and the Pentium line is no exception.

On May 22nd Intel plans to introduce three new Pentium dual core and the fastest of them is the G850, clocked at 2.9 GHz. It has 3MB of memory and it will sell for $86 wholesale price. The runner up is Pentium G840 clocked at 2.8 GHz, has the same 3MB cache and it will sell for $75, while the last one is Pentium G620 clocked at 2.6GHz. This one will sell for $64, wholesale price.

All these CPUs are meant to replace Pentium G6960 based on Clarkdale or dual-core Wolfdale Socket 775 socket based E6700 and E5800.

So don't forget, the launch is set for May 22nd.
