Mass availability in October
AMD's FX-Series processors, based on the Bulldozer architecture, should officially launch sometime in September, but real volume shipments will not be available until October. We have heard the September launch rumour and you could seen it all around the net for quite some time and this is what sources close to AMD are saying for now.

Digitimes has reported this rumour few days ago and we can confirm that we heard the same things from our sources close to the AMD. AMD is going to launch four FX-Series processors, eight-core FX-8150 and FX8100, six-core FX-6100 and the quad-core FX-4100.

The rest of the lineup should be ready by the Q1 2012. In addition to those, there will probably be a triple-core FX-3150 but rumours suggest that this one should be limited to the OEM market.

Unfortunately, our sources weren't clear regarding the October mass volume details and whether it will be limited to some regions, but we guess that this will solely depend on the demand.

You can check out the Digitimes post here.
