AMD has released a rather unique and good looking video suggesting what we can only interpret as a teaser for the imminent launch of Richland A-Series desktop APUs.
The trailer looks quite good and it is not a big surprise considering that AMD used the same guys that were behind trailers for Assassin's Creed IV, Halo 4 and Mass Effect 3 trailers and features a rather "intereseting" battle between processor-taxing pests and AMD "Cores" backed by Radeon Cores reinforcements.
The more interesting is the page that video links to as this one shows a set of benchmarks that pits AMD's incoming top-offer A10-6800K against Intel's Core i5-3470 with and without dedicated Nvidia GT 630 graphics card showing that this APU packs enough punch to give out some impressive scores in 3DMark, Sim City game and Winzip decompress speed benchmark.
In any case, we are quite sure we will hear more about Richland desktop A-Series APUs pretty soon as this trailer can only suggest that the official launch is just around the corner.
