Jumping the gun

It looks like we are really close to the launch of desktop A-Series Richland APUs judging by the released trailer video and the fact that some parts, including the top A10-6800K Black Edition, is already on sale for €140 in Germany.

As we noted earlier, it looks like AMD's desktop A-Series Richland APUs are just around the corner, and currently there is a total of seven Richland A-Series SKUs listed and shipping, including the A10-6800K, A10-6700, A8-6600K in both tray and boxed version, A8-6500, A6-6400K and the A4-4000. The currently cheapest A4-4000 is selling for as low as €35,18 in the UK and Germany.

In case you missed it earlier, the A10-6800K is a 100W TDP quad-core Richland part with 4MB of L2 cache clocked at 4.1GHz and 4.4GHz with Turbo. It features Radeon HD 8670D graphics with 384 stream processors and 844 MHz clock.

AMD desktop Richland APUs are pretty much just an improved Trinity parts but still pack quite a punch according to early benchmark scores.
