As rumored earlier, Intel's new Skylake-X and Kaby Lake-X CPUS should be launching in August, most likely at Gamescom 2017, which kicks off on August 22nd.

According to a fresh report coming from Benchlife.info, Intel plans to launch a total of three Skylake-X and one Kaby Lake-X CPU in August. The Skylake-X lineup will include six-, eight-core and 10-core SKUs while the single Kaby Lake-X CPU will be a quad-core SKU.

As far as the specifications go, the single Kaby Lake-X SKU will have a 112W TDP and is based on the new 14nm+ manufacturing process, which will lead to better efficiency and probably a higher stock clock. The entire Skylake-X lineup will have a 140W TDP.

According to the same report, the entire first batch will be branded under the K-branding, which suggest that X-branded high-end parts will be coming later.

Intel's new X299 chipset will bring plenty of updates including support for Intel Optane Technology and it supports quad-channel DDR4-2667 memory.
