by on19 December 2022

Three SKUs, 65W TDP, and boxed coolers

Ahead of their official launch in January, AMD's Ryzen 7000 non-X series lineup has leaked online, showing three SKUs with 65W TDP and coming with boxed coolers.

AMD is apparently keeping it simple with just three SKUs, the 12-core/24-thread Ryzen 9 7900, the 8-core/16-thread Ryzen 7 7700, and the 6-core/12-thread Ryzen 5 7600. Interestingly, all three SKUs will have a 65W TDP and will include boxed coolers, Wraith Prism for the Ryzen 9 7900 and the Ryzen 7 7700, and Wraith Stealth for the Ryzen 5 7600.

The leak posted by Videocardz.com also included pricing details, putting the Ryzen 9 7900 at an interesting price point of $429 putting it against Intel's Core i9-12900 and Core i9-13900. The Ryzen 7 7700 comes at $329, going against the Intel Core i7-12700 and Core i7-13700. The Ryzen 5 7600 has an MSRP of $229, which puts it against Core i5-12600/i5-13600.

As noted, AMD is expected to announce and launch the new non-X Ryzen 7000 series in January, at the CES keynote, where we also expect to see a teaser or an announcement for the Ryzen 7000X3D CPUs.
