The KIOXIA EXCERIA PLUS Portable SSD series feature a compact aluminum housing that should both provide elegant and portable design as well as provide effective heat dissipation. KIOXIA is using its own controller in combination with BiCS Flash 3D flash memory. As said, the KIOXIA EXCERIA PLUS Portable SSD series will be coming in 500GB, 1TB, and 2TB capacities, reaching speeds of up to 1,050MB/s for read and 1,000MB/s for write.

KIOXIA is bundling the KIOXIA EXCERIA PLUS Portable SSD series with its own SSD Utility management software, comes with a 3-year warranty, and should be available in Q4 2024. Unfortunately, KIOXIA did not reveal any details regarding the price.
