American city maps using collective data analysis now on display

In the second week of April, the Bowdoin College Museum of Art in Maine announced it will be the first to present data-mining and information visualization artist R. Luke DuBois’ work in a solo exhibition running now until the beginning of September. The New York-based artist has quite an impressive lineup of work that uses data analysis from census information and other online information troves to paint visually-intriguing portraits of the words that have defined American life throughout the past fifty years.
