AMD launches sooner than expected

Ryzen 9000 X3D as early as September

The Dark Satanic Rumour Mill has manufactured a hell on earth yarn claiming that AMD will release its Ryzen 9000 X3D versions earlier than thought.

The outfit had said it would release the 9000 series in July, which was earlier than expected. Now, soothsayers are predicting that the Ryzen 9000 X3D might be available around CES 2025.

To make matters worse Club386, quoting a highly credible source, has reported that the Ryzen 9000X3D series could be released as early as September. This would mean a mere two-month gap between the release of the standard and X3D models.

Computex has told Club386  that AMD plans to release the 9000X3D processors in September. This coincides with the expected release of X870E motherboards in the same month. Based on past launches, the initial models might be the Ryzen 9 9950X3D and possibly the Ryzen 9 9900X3D.

Although Club386 claims its source is reliable, AMD is famous for changing its mind on launch schedules. If this information is accurate, the Ryzen 9000X3D series might hit the market sooner than expected, although it's yet to be confirmed if this schedule will be maintained.

AMD has not provided a specific date for the arrival of the new X3D models but has hinted at changes in the upcoming X3D series, including potential differences in the size of the 3D V-Cache.
