EVGA managed to pack quite a bit of hardware considering that the new SC17 1080 gaming notebook is just 33mm thick. The notebook is made around a 17.3-inch 4K/UHD IPS panel with support for Nvidia G-Sync and features Intel's unlocked Core i7-7820HK Kaby Lake CPU paired up with Nvidia GTX 1080 8GB GDDR5X graphics card and 32GB of DDR4 SO-DIMM memory.
The rest of the features include 256GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD and 1TB 7200RPM Seagate SATA 6Gbps HDD for storage, Intel Gigabit Ethernet, Intel-based 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.2, three USB 3.0 Type-A and Thunderbolt 3.0 ports, HDMI 2.0b and two mini-DisplayPort 1.4 outputs, Synaptics Clickpad and full-sized white backlit keyboard.
EVGA was quite keen to note that the SC17 1080 gaming notebook features a full GUI BIOS which allows overclocking as well as EVGA's PrecisionX mobile for further tuning.
The EVGA SC17 1080 gaming notebook is already available directly from EVGA's own webshop with a price set at US $2999.99.
