Bungie confirmed in its weekly update that they will not be officially attending E3 this year. Rumors had been circulating that Bungie would officially announce the new IP that they are developing in conjunction with their new ten-year Activision.

While a number of rumors have circulated about what exactly the new Bungie IP might be, no one seems to know for sure. Our source seems to continue to tell us that it will be a new massively multiplayer action game that is nothing like anything we have seen before.

Sounds good, but it looks like we are going to have a lot of more a wait before Bungie is ready to talk about it.
