While no specific details were given, earlier rumors suggest that Nvidia will announce a total of three new SKUs, the RTX 4070 SUPER, RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, and the RTX 4080 SUPER. All three should be announced during the Nvidia CES 2024 Special Address event, launched in January, but available at different dates. The RTX 4070 SUPER should be available on January 17th, the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER should come on January 24th, and the RTX 4080 SUPER should launch on January 31st.
According to those same rumors, the RTX 4080 SUPER could end up with an AD102 GPU, giving Nvidia more room for additional CUDA cores. The RTX 4070 Ti SUPER should end up with AD103 GPU and might end up with 16GB of VRAM, while the RTX 4070 SUPER could also get more CUDA cores, filling the big gap between the currently available RTX 4070 and the RTX 4070 Ti, and putting a lot of pressure on AMD's RX 7800 XT graphics card.
The Nvidia CES 2024 Special Address is scheduled for January 8th, at 8 AM PT, and will stream over at the Nvidia Youtube channel.
