Rumours of a 64GB iPhone in China

The dark satanic rumour mill has manufactured a hell on earth yarn about a new iPhone 4 phone which has been released in China with a 64GB drive. A limited number of Apple iPhone 4 prototypes with 64GB storage capacity are being sold clandestinely, according to a report in Digital Trends.

The jumbo iPhone, which is most probably an engineering prototype looks very similar to the lost iPhone prototype which made its way to Gizmodo. They appear to have been leaked from Foxconn’s factory in Shenzhen. It is a 64GB model, running iOS 4.1. And it is not SIM-locked.

Some believe that Apple might have made a few hundred of the beasts but decided to kill them off because they were too expensive. When we say expensive, we mean that Apple could not change a huge mark-up on them.
