The company behind the Vivo brand said that both phones are powered by a 10 core SoC which supports 4G. The Vivo X6 Plus comes with 5.7-inch screen with 2560x1440 resolution and 4GB RAM. The phone has a 4000 mAh battery that might quickly be the next standard for 2016 phablets and the phone comes with a 21 megapixel rear and 12-megapixel front-facing camera.
The star of the device is the ten core Helio X20 with a two core cluster running at 2.5GHz, a second cluster of four A53 cores at 2.0Ghz and the third cluster of four lower power Cortex A53 running at 1.4GHz. We will see if these clocks make it to the Vivo X6 and X6 Plus designs.
The Chinese TENAA regulatory agency already approved the Vivo X6 Plus D and Vivo X6 Plus L so these devices are ready to launch rather soon.
Both phones have design similarities with the latest iPhones but are bigger than both. We have noticed there is a fingerprint reader on the back. We have to disappoint most of you, Vivo phones are not that cheap, but we could be surprised.
