New iPhones, A16, Apple Watch Series 8, and more

Apple has officially confirmed its next big event for September 7th, where we expect new iPhone models, the new A16 SoC, Apple Watch Series 8, and more.

As this is a September event, Apple's focus will probably be on new iPhone models, and, according to earlier rumors, we could see a whole new iPhone 14 Plus/Max, which could end up to be a standard iPhone 14 packed in the size of a Pro Max. Apple is also rumored to kick out the iPhone mini model from the lineup.

The recent rumors also point to a different pill-shaped cutout for the front camera, an always-on display, the next-generation A16 SoC, updated camera system, all of which could end up to be exclusive to the Pro models.

Apple is also expected to launch the new Apple Watch Series 8, with a larger display, better front glass, and even a temperature sensor.

In any case, the event will be held at the Apple Park campus on Wednesday, September 7, at 10:00 AM PT, and be streamed over at Apple.com and Youtube.
