Scores 3K in Cinebench R15

Last week intel introduced the10th generation Core S series desktop processors, and we expect to have them to be available shortly. Motherboards for the platform should be available on May 20th, and the CPU should not be that far beyond.

On top of the food chain is the Core i9 10900K, a ten-core unlocked processor that rocks up to 5.3GHz with the Intel thermal velocity boost option. Some early benchmarks geathered at VideoCardz show that if overclocked to 5.4GHz with all ten cores and twenty threads the CPU scores 3002

To put things in perspective, the stock 5GHz Core i9 9900K and KS scored 216 in our test. The Ryzen i9 3950X with all sixteen cores still scores 215. One can only assume that at stock clock Intel’s tenth generation Core i9 10900K will score more than 216.

Core i9 10900K

Intel has already detailed the Core i9 10900K specs and its base clock of 3.7GHz. Turbo boost single Core to 5.1GHz, Turbo Boost Max 3.0 scores 5.2GHz. The new Intel thermal velocity boost technology boosts maximal single Core to 5.3GHz and boosts all cores turbo to 4.9GHz. The TDP is at 125W, and the CPU supports two channels DDR4-2933, Intel UHD 630 graphics, and Optane memory. Intel will sell it for $488.

Core i7 10700K

Core i7 10700K with eight cores and sixteen threads has a base clock of up to 3.8GHz. Turbo boost single Core to 5.0GHz, and Turbo Boost Max 3.0 scores 5.1GHz looks very attractive too. Core i7 doesn’t support the new Intel thermal velocity boost technology boosts maximal clock. All cores in Turbo will run at 4.7GHz. The TDP is at 125W, unlocked, and the CPU supports two channels DDR4-2933, Intel UHD 630 graphics, and Optane memory. Intel will sell it for $374.

Core i5 10600K

The community has high hopes from six cores with twelve threads Core i5 10600K that has a base clock of 4.1GHz and turbo boost to 4.8GHz. All cores run up to 4.5GHz, and it still has a TDP of 125W. It supports two channels DDR4-2666, Intel UHD 630 graphics, and Optane memory. Intel will sell it for $262.

The fastest quad-core with eight treads is the 10th generation Core i3 10320, and it runs at the base clock up to 3.8GHz. Maximal turbo boost 2.0 gets the single Core to 4.6GHz while all cores can run at up to 4.4GHz. The CPU has a bit more modes 65W TDP Intel UHD 630 graphics and Optane memory. Intel will sell it for $154.
