Micron unveils its client PCIe 4.0 SSDs

During its Computex 2021 presentation, Micron announced it has started shipping its first PCIe 4.0 SSDs, the Micron 2450 and Micron 3400, both featuring the latest 176-layer 3D TLC NAND flash memory.
Patriot releases fast Viper Gaming VP4300 PCIe 4.0 SSD

Patriot Memory has released its latest M.2 NVMe SSD as a part of its Viper Gaming lineup, the Viper VP4300, promising high sequential read and write performance, hitting up to 7,400MB/s and 6,800MB/s, respectively.
Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus now available
$199 1TB and $399 2TB
Sabrent reached out to let us know that Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus is now available in 1TB, and 2TB sizes at Amazon.com and a few other places. The drive was initially announced in September, and it holds the fastest on the market crown with 7100 MB/s read and 6600 MB/s write performance.

The Navi paper-launched when I was still in sunny Tuscany taking a break from the tech, but here are some of the things that have caught my attention. No Ray tracing, no high end, and only performance/mainstream, not much benefit from 7nm, and nine months late to fight 2070 are just a part of it.
AMD confirms lack of PCIe 4.0 support on older motherboards

AMD has confirmed that older chipset motherboards, based on X470, X370, B450, B350 and A320 chipsets, will lack support for PCIe 4.0, as there could be some issues with some motherboards.
Vega 20 GPU arrives late 2017

Vega 10 is Radeon Technology Group’s first HBM 2 part and should launch in early 2017. AMD – RTG is also planning a successor called Vega 20 that might launch later in the year.
