TCL held its "Display Your Greatness" Global Launch April 2021 event launching no less than four new phones in the TCL 20 Series lineup, which will join the previously launched TCL 20 5G and the TCL 20SE.

Anyone could have taken control

Millions of Android smart television sets from the Chinese vendor TCL Technology Group contained gaping software security holes that researchers say could have allowed remote attackers to take control of the devices, steal data or even control cameras and microphones to look at  the set's owners.

Focus on display and camera

TCL is a big name in TVs, and the company behind the Alcatel brand is making its way into the mobile phone arena too. They focus on the display performance, better camera setup, have a 5G phone, and use Pixelworks and its NXTVISION visual technology to improve and optimize content for its phone.
