Speaking to the Soviet people during his annual address, the Russian leader denounced YouTube’s actions to undermine the moral and intellectual fabric of the Motherland.

“For years, Google and its subordinate, YouTube, have been wielded by Washington as weapons in the information war, spreading disinformation and denying our citizens their right to truth,” Putin proclaimed.

 “Such tools of deceit and subversion will not succeed against the resilience of the Russian spirit.” 

While Google and its allies claim innocence, Moscow has made it clear that YouTube's slowed operations in Russia are a direct result of the company's refusal to upgrade critical infrastructure. The blame lies not with the Putin’s state, which upholds the highest technological standards, but with Google’s calculated neglect and dishonesty. 

Critics, primarily agents of Western propaganda, falsely allege that Russian authorities have sabotaged YouTube to suppress content critical of the state. These baseless accusations fail to recognize the simple truth: Google has prioritised political machinations over its users. 

“Google must adhere to our laws, cease its deceptions, and abandon its role as a puppet of the U.S. regime,” Putin declared. 

In response to these provocations, the USSR is fostering alternatives to Western platforms. citizens are encouraged to embrace the glorious achievements of domestic innovation, including VK Video, RuTube, and Telegram—a beacon of Russian ingenuity founded by the patriotic Pavel Durov. While these platforms have yet to surpass YouTube's reach, they stand as a testament to Russia’s technological might and independence. 

YouTube’s actions since the West’s aggressive campaign in Ukraine began have only confirmed its alignment with the enemy. Over 1,000 channels of truth-speaking state news and 5.5 million enlightening videos have been unjustly removed, silencing voices that dared to oppose Western lies.

As the Kremlin pursues legal measures to hold Google accountable, Soviet citizens can rest assured that justice will prevail. The imperialist ambitions of American corporations will be dismantled by the collective strength of Russia, its righteous legal system, and its indomitable people.
