Upgrade or Yog-Sothoth will eat your soul

Software giant Microsoft is getting so desperate to have its users upgrade to Windows 10 it has started spreading FUD about its own Windows 7 operating system.

But not on me

I am getting slightly annoyed. Why am I the only person in the world who is not being nagged my Microsoft to upgrade to Windows 10.

Maybe Apple will support it

Beancounters at analyst outfit Gartner have decided that Windows 10 will eventually be the most successful of Redmond's creations.

Windows 8.1 too

Windows 10 now has 120 million activations thanks mostly to the fact that Microsoft is offering for free to Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 users. Now Redmond has told its OEM chums they need to prepare to stop selling Windows 7 Professional from October 31 2016.

Still half baked. 

Sony has warned owners of its Vaio systems not to upgrade to Windows 10 yet.
