XL too in New York event

Google has gone on record and set out invitations for its hardware event to launch Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. Since people have the phone and reviewed it in Russia and people left it apparenrly by accident in an Uber car, it is time to officially present it, good two months later.

There will be three trends that will play an important role in most phones scheduled to roll out in 2019. They will play the 5G card, use either drop notch or have a full view screen with s sliding cameras. Although the rumored launch date is set for October, it appears that Google already finished the Pixel 3 XL smartphone as it showed up in an unboxing video, in a retail box and all the accessories.

Some people will want to get the the Mi6 successor, which might be imaginatively titled the Mi 7 and there is an indication that this might happen on May 23.

Xiaomi's Mi7 is a Snapdragon 845 phone that will sell in millions. The latest leaked pictures have confirmed the notched display, in display fingerprint reader and the rear dual camera setup.

In door navigation, new AI and camera API

2018 is all about a  bezel less screen with a notch, at least for the high end Androids and iPhones. Google is aware of that and the Android P has improved support, with the notch in mind.
